I love her, she's such an inspiration to so many girls, and I just adore her. And I think that this quote brought up a great point. It frustrates me SO much when girls think they have this amazing style because they've got all designer clothes or where they copy and outfit straight out of a catalog and call it style. It just irks me like no other, I think that style should be based on what you come up with. For example, I buy over half of my clothing from consignment stores, and buy the occasional Marc Jacobs piece (seeing as I'm on a tight budget...tehe). Anyway, I guess I'm just venting, but am I alone on this one? Does anyone agree?

AGREE! i mix target, etc with my more expensive buys - my parents usually pay for my clothes - except for my splurges on things they think i dont need - so i try to spend their money frugally!

And I also agree with the idea of there's no -need to buy super expensive clothes to look trendy and elegant. People can still look amazing mixing bargains and not so cheap stuff =), it's a matter of having style and good taste =)

i do think that some things adapt though, like jeans will always be in, but they are quite a modern thing
